Australia Manufacturing PMI Jumps To 54.2 – AiG

The manufacturing sector in Australia continued to expand in November, and at an accelerated pace, the latest survey from the Australian Industry Group revealed on Thursday with a manufacturing PMI score of 54.2.

That’s up sharply from 50.9 in October, and it moves further above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.

Individually, new orders, sales, exports, deliveries, production and employment all expanded in November, while inventories slipped into contraction.
